In confidence I would like to state that my fin Mesare. Cox MicEuen & Co., London, have been asked to take certainį holding in the firm of Andrew von Fischerz & George, Ltd. who as you are aware are a British concern registered in Hongkong, but with a German subject holding & considerable number of the shares.

Before, however, my firm could consider such a proposal they would require to know what legislation, if any, is contemplated by the Colonial Authorities in regard to such constituted concerns .

I should be glad if you would kindly reply to this letter direct to the Colonial Office in London to whom my firm would apply in due course.

I would like to add that the business done by us with this firm is in British made goods and shipped in British bottoms.
